As a Director in the Power, Utilities & Renewables Consulting practice at PwC, he advises utilities, developers, investors, and government institutions on generation planning, energy transition strategies, asset acquisitions, portfolio optimization, and policy matters. His experience spans thermal power, solar, hydro, battery energy storage systems, hybrid renewable projects, and cross-border power initiatives. He has led many techno-commercial due diligence, business valuation, regulatory assessments, investment case development, and acquisition processes for generation assets, including transactions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
Soumya has also supported renewable energy deployment through policy formulation, PPP-based implementation models, procurement advisory, and investment planning.
