Kiran Joseph is the CEO of thyssenkrupp nucera India, and a Member of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp nucera India. In addition to his overall responsibility of the organization, he also takes care of the finance, legal, HR and ITM functions.

In his previous role, he was a Principal at thyssenkrupp management consulting, Germany, the in-house management consulting of the thyssenkrupp group of companies, where he was leading engagements worldwide on topics such as business transformation, performance improvement, group strategy, and financial transformation.

Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer, thyssenkrupp Carbon Components, Germany, where he was responsible for finance and controlling, human resources, IT, and had joint responsibility for the procurement function.

He has also served as Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer, Brightup GmbH, Hamburg Germany, a start-up in the IoT domain, that he co-founded and jointly led. 

He has a Master's in Technology Management from the Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT) Hamburg, Germany, a Master's in International Production Management / Hamburg, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Anna University in Chennai.

Kiran is presently Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’s Core Group on Financing Requirements for Energy Transition, a Committee formed to drive the development of the Green Hydrogen business in India.
