Sudripto De is Senior Partner, Energy & Resources, Innovation and Transformation Group, at Tata Consultancy Services. With more than three decades of experience spanning industry leadership, management consulting, and innovation-led transformation, he has directed global programs across oil and gas, renewable energy, power, petrochemicals, engineering, procurement and construction, metals, and mining. His scholarly and professional interests centre on digital strategy, enterprise AI adoption, AI roadmap development, agentic and retrieval-augmented generation frameworks, and the convergence of AI and IoT for enhancing industrial performance. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with distinction from Delhi College of Engineering, an MBA from FMS Delhi, and advanced training in supply-chain planning and modelling from IIM Ahmedabad. He is also the holder of a US patent involving Bayesian networks, ontology, and text analytics for supply-chain analytics and reliability engineering. His research contributions span AI literacy, supply-chain analytics, and industrial transformation, including work on the AI Literacy Index associated with WEF discourse.
