Mr. Sachin Jain is a dynamic leader at the intersection of strategic business transformation and new business development, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Strategy, Transformation, and Battery Business at TKIL Industries, Pune. With nearly two decades of progressive experience across consulting, project leadership, investment, and corporate strategy, Mr. Jain shapes the course of TKIL’s business evolution and next-gen businesses including battery ventures.

A post-graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and electrical engineer from BITS Pilani, Mr. Jain’s previous roles include strategy consulting at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked in Industrial Goods (IG), Private Equity (PE), Energy and sustainability sectors. He guided large capital project management cases for clients, supported business build for sustainability verticals, led M&A and investment strategies and orchestrated transformation for large organisations. He worked across geographies including Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. At Vedanta Resources, he specialized in corporate strategy for large capital asset management and operational transformation, further deepening his expertise in value chain optimization, growth modeling, and organizational design. Following his stint at Vedanta, Sachin was associated with Accenture Strategy (Malaysia), where he continued to sharpen his strategic and operational expertise.

His key achievements are:
• Procurement transformation for SE Asian national oil company, delivering $100 million in realised savings
• Led Category Excellence and Strategic Sourcing for largest category with spend of $2 Billion
• Long term category strategy plans, spend analysis, market intelligence, should cost modeling
• Led implementation of digital tools; B2B marketplace for amazonisation of procurement process

Since joining TKIL Industries in July 2024, Mr. Jain has pioneered new business directions in battery solutions, rail electrification, and efficient energy storage, positioning TKIL at the forefront of clean mobility and resilience. He played a decisive role in striking strategic partnerships—including the exclusive collaboration with HOPPECKE Batteries Germany to develop advanced systems for India’s rail sector. His insights drive innovation in capital project management, M&A, new business development and cost optimisation while catalyzing digital transformation initiatives throughout TKIL.

Mr. Jain has a proven track record of fostering collaborative, high-performance teams and building investment platforms in the sustainability domain. He has also contributed to industry forums, advocating the adoption of global best practices and the alignment of TKIL Industries’ strategies with India’s ambitious energy and decarbonization targets.
