Anurag Jain has over 32 years of experience in the energy sector, specialising in developing and implementing best practices in Quality, EHS, Business Excellence & Sustainability using technology and processes in power projects thereby strengthening business performance. 
He is currently working as Global Head – Quality, HSE & ESG at Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd. An Electrical Engineer & MBA with specialised training in ESG framework & metrics, EFQM Business Excellence Assessor, Six Sigma, Leading Safety Efforts, Lead Assessor for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001, Anurag brings deep technical and project management expertise.

Over his career, he has gone through the end-to-end journey of development from conceptualisation to commissioning of multiple Gas based, Solar & Wind power projects totalling around 25 GW in India, Europe & UK while working in working in companies like ABB, Alstom, ReNew and Avaada.. His notable achievements include:
 
• Instrumental in developing various organizational policies & processes in multiple organizations for multiple countries
• Instrumental in establishing Quality, EHS & Business Excellence function right from scratch leading to the growth of the organization from becoming a 500 MW to a 12,800 MW company
• Led the achievement of 5 star Business Excellence rating from EFQM as a first power company in India. 
• Achieved a low risk rating in sustainability (ESG)

He is also part of various industry organizations and was co-chairman of Assocham national council of quality and productivity in FY 23-24.
He has been conferred with Quality Leadership Award and Most Talented Quality Leader (Global) by World Quality Congress and has won many awards in Safety from FICCI, CII, NSC and Institution of Engineers.
