Ms. Anjali Pandey is the President – Generation at Tata Power, where she leads the company’s Thermal, Hydro, and Pump Hydro Storage Power Generation businesses. In this pivotal role, she is driving strategic initiatives that reinforce Tata Power’s leadership in the energy sector, advancing projects that are vital to India’s energy security and economic growth.

Before joining Tata Power, Ms. Pandey served as COO of the Cummins Group in India. Her career at Cummins was marked by a series of leadership roles spanning Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Internal Audit, Sourcing, Strategy, and Business Leadership, where she consistently delivered impactful results.

Ms. Pandey holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana, USA. She is a certified auditor and has received numerous accolades, including the Woman Achiever’s Award from CII EXCON in 2022 for her commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She was also featured in the Economic Times–Spencer Stuart list of India’s top executives under 40 in 2017.

A passionate advocate for inclusive workplaces, Ms. Pandey has chaired the Western Region Manufacturing Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and serves on several other industry associations. Born in Varanasi and raised in Pune, she is an avid reader and enjoys traveling. Ms. Pandey brings a wealth of experience, strategic vision, and a steadfast commitment to sustainable growth to her leadership at Tata Power.
